RE: On The Road To Alaska
All of you up or already returning I have a couple of questions. Headed up, in the Banff area now, and was planning the "Top of the World" Highway route. Should I or bypass going straight to Tok from Whitehorse? Wanted to take as many varied routes as possible,however am a little concerned about the road description/condition especially from Dawson City to Tok. Understand 100+ miles is gravel? Am running a 40ft pusher and read about having to be particularly careful especially if road happens to be wet or even if dry, about soft shoulders. Have any of you gone that route? Looking for your comments and suggestions. Thank you

Grand Canyon
Can anyone tell me what I might find for traveling and staying in the Grand Canyon area this time of the year. Looking at a couple of days around April 19 - 20th. Appears the only park open at this time is Grand Canyon Camper Village. Any knowledge of this park? Suggest reservations?

RE: Recommend, please a TV converter box
Wasn't sure where I should jump in with my question, so please forgive me if this in the wrong spot but I thought it provided the avenue. My question: If one was to decide to "bite the bullet" and change out the old TVs to new HD panel to get away from those digital boxes, which are recommended for the RV environment, i.e. plasma, aquos, LCD, etc?

When on the road last June (2007) with a house to sell. Bit of a drain on the discretionary income. House was placed on the market March (2007). But champagne last night (13th). Closed - SOLD!!! What a relief!!!

Have done the same as "The Texan". Put house on market Mar 2007, took to full-time in June, still waiting for the house to sell!!! Does bite into discretionary funds.
